Stavanger 22

Stavanger, great fjords with public access. I visited Preikestolen, a rock formation situated just outside of Stavanger. To get to the place, either you drive from Stavanger to the "base camp" or you can also take the public bus. I took the bus from Stavanger to Jørpeland. Then take the bus to Botne (end station: Forsand). From Botne you hike to the basecamp. The other option would be getting out of the bus at Jøssang then walk on the side of the road to the base camp. But the latter means you're sharing with cars. You can maybe hitch a ride. I chose the former option because I preferred technical walk and no traffic noise as well as the chance to admire the beautiful rocks around you.
